Here are some questions we get about eloping in Adelaide. If you can’t find an answer to your question please contact us.
Adelaide follows the same rules that apply across the country. All you need to do is submit your Notice of Intended Marriage to the South Australian government at least 30 days before your wedding date. Your celebrant will be able to help out with that if you have any issues. Once that’s submitted you just need to show up with 2 witnesses on your wedding day. It’s quite simple and we’re able to help with everything along the way!
Adelaide is known for its moderate weather conditions. The summer months (December-February) are typically hot and humid, while the winter months (June-August) can be quite cold, with occasional snowfalls. The best time of year to get married in Adelaide is during the spring or autumn when the temperatures are mild and the weather is generally stable.
That being said, people get married year-round! Don’t let the weather limit you on your wedding date.
