FAQ

Here are some questions we get about eloping in Melbourne. If you can’t find an answer to your question please contact us.

Your celebrant will instruct you on filling out the Notice of Intended Marriage, which must be submitted at least 30 days before your wedding date. The wedding ceremony can take place anywhere in Victoria that is licensed to conduct marriages. This marriage certificate is then signed in the presence of two witnesses, who must also be present at the marriage. After the ceremony, the marriage certificate will be issued and you will be married!

This very much depends on what you’re looking for! If you want a bare bones elopement you can get a celebrant for under $1,000 and be legally married. If you want a photographer and other things like flowers, it will cost a bit more. If you want an exact quote just get in touch and we’ll give you a number.
