The requirements to elope in the Sunshine Coast are the same across Queensland. You won’t have to worry much about them because the celebrant we match you with will take care of most of the legal bits. You will just need to fill out the Notice of Intended Marriage at least 30 days before the wedding date and submit it to the government. Other than that, just bring two witnesses to the wedding and your celebrant will take care of the rest!
The Sunshine Coast enjoys beautiful weather year-round, making it a popular destination for weddings. The average temperature is 26 degrees Celsius, with sunny skies and plenty of humidity. However, the best time to get married on the Sunshine Coast is during the dry season, which runs from May to October. During this time, there is less rain and more sunshine, making it ideal for outdoor weddings. November to April is the wet season, when there can be heavy rains and strong winds. While the wet season can be beautiful, it is best to avoid getting married during this time if you are hoping for clear skies on your big day.
