FAQ

Here are some questions we get about eloping in Victoria. If you can’t find an answer to your question please contact us.

Before you run off to your chosen destination, there are a few legal requirements that you need to take care of. In Victoria you must give notice of your intention to marry at least one month before the ceremony. This can be done in person or by mail, and you will need to provide proof of identity and birth date. After your wedding there is more paperwork that needs to be submitted. Your celebrant will be able to help with all of the legal bits!

There are a few things to consider when budgeting for your elopement, including the cost of your marriage license, celebrant, photographer, transportation and other vendors. Our smallest packages start in the hundreds of dollars and it goes up from there.
