FAQ
Here are some questions we get about eloping in Queensland. If you can’t find an answer to your question please contact us.
If you’re planning on eloping in Queensland, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. You’ll need to give notice that you’re getting married at least one month before the ceremony. This can be done in person or by mail, and your celebrant can help out by submitting this for you. After the wedding, you need to file your marriage certificate within 60 days of the ceremony. Your celebrant can also help you with this!

This depends on what you’d like included on your wedding day. If you want to keep it simple and just have a celebrant, there are packages starting in the hundreds – it can be very cheap! We recommend adding an hour of photography so you can share memories of the day with family and friends. Get in touch for an exact quote of what your elopement will cost.
